Marek completed his master´s degree in law at the Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica, where he also became a doctor of law (JUDr.). He successfully passed the bar exam and since 2019 he has been registered in the list of lawyers maintained by the Slovak Bar Association. His hobbies are mainly history and travel.
